What can I donate?

Cars (whether they run or not), RVs, boats, fleet vehicles, travel trailers, and real estate. Please call us at 1-800-515-6789 if you have any questions.

 

Is my donation tax deductible?

We only work with charitable organizations that are 501 (c) [3] classified so that when you donate an auto , your donation is tax deductible.

 

What do I need to do to donate a car or other vehicle?

We would like the title to the vehicle if you have it, though other arrangements can be made if the title papers aren't available. We will need you to fill out our vehicle donation form or call us so that we can schedule a pick-up time.

 

Can I still donate my car even if it hasn't run in years?

Yes! You can donate your vehicle even if it doesn't operate. We will arrange to have it picked up at our expense.

 

Will you pick up vehicle donations in all 50 states?

We currently serve the following states: Arizona, Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Washington DC, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming. How is the value of my car determined?

IRS Publication 561 lays out the manner in which you are required to determine the value of donated property. You can see this information on the IRS website at http://www.irs.ustreas.gov/prod/forms_pubs/pubs.html.

 

How will the car be picked up?

When you donate a used car , truck, boat, trailer, or RV, we will have it towed at a prearranged time. Contact us if you want to schedule a vehicle pick-up.

 

How long will it take to pick up my car?

We normally tow vehicles within a few days of speaking with you. If you need your vehicle towed sooner, we will try to make special arrangements.
